Trabajos de Egiptología. Papers on Ancient Egypt is an annual academic journal that aims to disseminate original work related to Ancient Egypt and Egyptology in a broad sense, based on a multi-disciplinary approach.
Submission guidelines
Contributions submitted to Trabajos de Egiptología must follow the guidelines specified in this webpage.
Manuscripts may be written in English, French or German. They should include an abstract and a brief list of key-words written in the same language of the article.
Illustrations will be reproduced in black and white in the paper edition and in colour in the digital copies. They must be labelled. Photographs and line drawings must have enough quality for their publication (minimum 300 dpippp). It is the responsibility of the author to obtain all copyright permissions. The Editorial Board is not responsible for the consequences of failing to meet this requirement.
For the style of references, notes, abbreviations and bibliography, the formats suggested by the journal must be followed (see the TdE Style Guidelines).
The authors should submit their manuscripts by e-mail or mail to the addresses listed in HOME, including their complete contact details: academic institution, mailing address and e-mail address. If sent via post, authors should include a printed copy of the manuscript and a CD with indication of the type of file. Authors will receive an email acknowledging the reception of their manuscripts.

Selection process
The selection of manuscripts will be done following the style and contents criteria of this journal (the work submitted must be original and unpublished). TdE uses a peer review system, in which the reviewers are external experts. Based on their assessments, the Editorial Board shall decide whether or not to publish the manuscripts. Authors will be notified of the decision.
